Industry Blender was founded in 2007 by Chef Francois Samson, as a solution to the challenges he faced while working in the food and beverage industry. As a chef involved in numerous restaurant managements in over a dozen countries, he repeatedly experienced the challenges of setting up a network of restauranteurs, suppliers, and foodservice professionals.

To fullfill this need, he envisioned the concept of an online network that brings together the people and businesses of the food and beverage industry.
